Trainer- A trainer is a person who raises pokemon to help them reach their full strength and potential. In order to test their pokemon's abilities, most trainers travel around the Bosena Region to challenge the Six gyms and later the Bosena League. Trainers are the only characters that start out with a Gym Pass, which is an item required to challenge the Gyms. Trainers get a 1.25 multiplication bonus with all experience earned.
Coordinator- Coordinators really like to make their pokemon shine. They are experts at making a pokemon look, and feel, good. To see how good they are, Coordinators flock to the Iolite City Contest Hall when matches are called. Coordinators are the only characters that start out with a Contest Pass, which is an item required to compete in Contests. Coordinators have a higher chance of finding items in the wild.
Breeder- Breeders do exactly as the name implies: breed pokemon. it's also their job to make pokemon happy, healthy, and comfortable, and most have their care down to an exact science. Most own their own farms and ranches to care for the eggs, as well. Breeders are the ONLY characters that can own Ranch Pass, which is needed for breeding. They can sell any eggs bred, if desired, for whatever they wish to sell them for, and the time for eggs to hatch is cut down by two days.
The Rangers- Rangers are essentially the Pokemon Police Force of the Region. While there are /normal/ police officers, like the Jennys, the Rangers are more specialized for search and rescue missions. In recent years, this has evolved that they are also the top players behind investigating Team Pergure. This has led to some public backlash....
Team Pergure- A seemingly innocent charity group. So far their members have helped raise hospitals and rescue countless Pokemon from cruel homes. They are well liked and members well respected throughout the Region, though there are a few rumors of seedy happenings amongst the higher ups. No one believes these rumors, though; after all, why would Pergure want economic dominance of Bosena?
Note that since this place is not linear (in that you have to travel to one place before you can get to the next), difficulty of battles with Gym Leaders is based on how many Badges you have. This means that if you challenge the Water Gym last, it will be the hardest battle, while if someone else challenges it first, it will be the easiest.
Only Coordinators can compete in the Grand Festival, and there can only ever be one winner per festival. If a Coordinator wins, the Pokemon they won with (and ONLY that Pokemon) will always produce at least one Shiny egg if bred. Only Coordinators can ever enter the Festival.
