Frowning to herself the tiny girl pondered this as she stood rather still, hands on her hips with her head tilted toward the sky. She was spacing out for a while, trapped in her own thoughts as the world passed her by. Sighing to herself she regained her senses and looked around, glaring at anyone that caught her eye. In her arms sat a small yellow ball, a Pikachu by the way it's tail seemed to sway in the air. Glancing down at Gelato she blinked seeing his face peering up at her, and refrained from being too affectionate to the pokemon. There was no need for anyone else to see how much she adored the fluff ball.
Finally realizing she was standing around like an idiot, she shifted forward and took her first few steps into town. As a trainer she knew she'd be going against the gym leader, and she twitched gently at the thought. Gelato peeked up, aware of his trainer's distress as he settled further into her firm hold. Iritably she sighed at the annoying pokemon, couldn't he just sleep in his ball like the rest of them? Then again, no. She'd be too lonely-N-NOT THAT SHE GOT LONELY A LOT OR ANYTHING! No. Not at all! She only let him out because he was lonely! Yeah that's it...
Idly she rubbed a thumb against a scratch Gelato had on his ear, they'd been surprised a few times by wild pokemon, and each time she'd screa-I MEAN SHE'D JUMPED INTO ACTION! Yeah! What was she a wuss? Scowling to herself, which she realized (though she didn't care) seemed odd to others, and lowered her gaze to the ground as to hide her face. No need to have people looking at her all the time, that was just weird.
As she continued her downward spiraling thoughts, mostly revolving around her siblings, she wasn't watching where she was going. A small spark from Gelato caused her to flinch as she knocked into the arm of a stranger, successfully knocking her over. Gritting her teeth as Gelato sent out an annoyed cry and shocked her again, she dropped the mouse pokemon as she crashed to her knees.
"HEY!"

Such a nice little town Carnelian Town was! Odette respected its old-time-y ways and appearance. It was pleasant and it kind of put her in a sleepy mood, actually. She yawned and covered her mouth with her hand in a polite manner. No one wanted to see down her gullet, she was sure. Amber yawned as well, but she had no hands to cover her small mouth with. Odette looked down at the little Azurill with a loving smile. The creature was just so cute!
The blond hugged Amber closer to her chest, for she had been carrying her as she walked along, and rubbed her light cheek against the small Pokemon's forehead. Amber squirmed a bit, as if she were uncomfortable, but she was smiling. The girl gave a contented sigh. It was wonderful to be outside, just walking along with her favorite (and only) Pokemon in the world. Well, Amber wasn't walking, she was being carried, but she had been walking. Odette supposed that the little one was being affected by the old-fashioned sleepiness as well and it didn't help that it was past noon. The girl gave a small gasp. Oh no! Had she forgotten about the little one's nap time?! Odette's Azurill was very young, a baby, and still needed things like naps. Her smile faded into an expression of worry. This was not good. The poor child was probably fighting to stay awake!
The young coordinator then fretted a bit and considered going back to the little cottage she was staying in when a stranger bumped into her! Odette's grip on her beloved Pokemon loosened and the Azurill fell to the ground. The girl gasped and took a hurried step towards her, but she tripped on the body of the stranger who had bumped into her. She fell. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed hurriedly, scrambling to her feet, only to throw herself down again to gently pick up Amber. Of course, the small ball of blue was crying and wailing, but a little more quietly than a baby. Amber's face was scraped and a little bloody, but Odette thought she would be all right. The girl cradled the Pokemon in her small arms and rocked her. "Shh..." she hushed gently. "Shh..."
Odette had completely forgotten about the person who had bumped into her, her entire focus being on the little blue one who had fallen. She sighed in relief and gave a smile when Amber hushed her cries to that of a whimper, but after that pause, the Azurill started wailing even louder! What was wrong?! Why was she still crying?! She began to panic. She was making a scene and it wasn't a pleasant one. It was then that the girl felt something run down her nose. She touched it and found that it was a drop of blood. She rubbed her fingers together with a triumphant expression at finding the new cause of her dear Pokemon's tears.
She rubbed her face on the short sleeve of her shirt, leaving blood stains on it while Amber got tear stains over the front of Odette's jean overalls. You'd think that the Azurill was a water type with all the water she had inside of her. "I'm fine, see?" the blond said cheerfully with a grin. Amber gave a response of sniffles and more tears. "Look, Amber," she said, covering her face with her hands as if she were about to play Peek-a-boo. "A funny face!" The girl pulled her lips apart, stuck out her tongue, and make an odd noise. She held the strange pose until Amber's sniffles quieted a bit and she gave a smile. Odette smiled, wiped her hands on her hips, and patted the creature on the head.
She stood up, carrying Amber up with her, and dusted herself off a bit. "You okay?" she asked the stranger, who she discovered was a young lady, that she had tripped over.

A white hot flash surged up her legs as her knees throbbed in pain. Adjusting herself, flyaway curl bouncing on her head, she cursed heavily and rather loudly in Italian, unwavering before the stares from the passing people. Who in the hell had the audacity to trip her!? During her inner rant and rage, her teeth grinding as she prepared herself to chew ut the person who decided it would be a good idea to not watch where they were going - and NO those were NOT tears springing in her eyes from the fall! Sucking in a sharp breath she glanced herself over, her fingers trembled, be it from the fall or her illness she figured she'd never really know, the only thing she could see wrong were angry red palms and scraped knees.
Standing up she looked at Gelato, who seemed in a complete fit as his ears flattened and his cheeks sparked. But he didn't seem angry at her for dropping him, his gaze was locked elsewhere. Following the childish yellow pokemon's gaze she saw the wailing blue ball, and sighed as it seemed to calm. The louder wails came, and so did her migrane. Growling to herself her patience snapped.
"SHUT THAT DAMN THING UP ALREADY!"
Manners completely lost on her during her rage, Gelato cried out in agreement and sparked more violently, the threat of shocking the creature plain on his face. Both pokemon and trainer stood side by side, hands on their hips with similar deeply annoyed and angry expressions. Mirella visibly cringed when the girl made that...that....weird face, it wasn't attractive and didn't impress the fiery Italian one bit, she was just happy the Azurill finally shut up.
"Now who are you and who the hell do you think you are bumping into me?"
Mirella was all for demands, and not much for proper calm explanations. She was too much of a firecracker, ready to explode at any moment the minute something went the wrong way. Dusting her skirt off angrily she tried to appear as offended as possible, while also wiping the blood that had surfaced on her scraped knees. Gelato jumped to his trainer's shoulder, tail raised in the air and glaring at the Azurill for the noise it caused. Both of the irritated creatures hoped more than anything the Azurill wouldn't start up again with the wailing.

Well, yelling at the poor thing wasn't going to stop her from crying. Odette still managed to calm her down when she showed Amber that she was completely fine. The lady seemed pretty offended, even though the girl had apologized already. Oh wait, she hadn't apologized for Amber's screaming. She'll have to scold her later for causing others trouble. Odette's form of scolding; however, wasn't true scolding. She just looked at Amber with a serious expression (which was odd enough, considering she's always smiling or something) and told her firmly what she had done wrong. She wasn't a very harsh trainer. "Now who are you and who the hell do you think you are bumping into me?"
Well, someone was angry. "I'm Odette and I'm sorry for bumping into you. I wasn't watching where I was going and that was my fault. Oh, and I'm sorry about my Pokemon's wailing. She's got a real set of pipes on her. Hey," she said, looking down at the baby Pokemon in her hands. "You apologize too." Amber apologized in her Pokemon language and she did look apologetic. Eyes downcast and sad and everything. She had caused trouble, Odette knew she knew that. Amber knew she was going to be talked to later and that they probably won't be going anywhere else after this.
The blond looked back up to the brunette and her Pikachu. Oo, a Pikachu. Her admiration quickly passed as she remembered the situation. "Since you're able to yell so loud, I'm assuming you're mostly alright. That's good!" she said with a short laugh. Odette, on the other hand, was still bleeding. Her eyes crossed as she felt a few drops of blood slide down her nose. She should probably get some bandages for that. The girl uncrossed her eyes to look at the young lady. "I'll be going to get some bandages. Do you want to come? I'll pay for them." Her mama had taught her to be polite, at least. The young lady's anger didn't seem to phase her much. It was like she was ignoring it. Or she had just decided to forget about it. She had apologized for all she had done wrong. Besides, it was the young lady's choice whether to forgive her or not. If she didn't, no big deal. Some people just couldn't be pleased. That one came from her dad.
