At least, it may seem that way. Really the one thing you notice about him at first is the smile on his face, a cross between mischievous and cocky. He holds himself with an assured air and never seem to falter, but transitions well between emotion. His red-brown eyes are always warm and comforting, which helps him with his flirting efforts, but they also appear simmering when doubled with a sultry expression and the fact that his brown hair hangs languidly in his face. To some people he can seem intimidating, all six foot three inches of him. He uses the height differences between him and others to get the upper hand, often towering over others teasingly and using the shortness of others as good bait to antagonize them. He’s rather slim, but toned and more than capable of holding his own in many situations that may call for physical violence, in which he can also impressively turn his expression cold as ice on a dime. His style of dress can vary, but seems to focus mainly on covered arms and long pants. His most common outfits are either long sleeve shirts and long pants, or sleeveless tops with long pants and a jacket. Occasionally he can also be seen with make-up, but not in the traditional sense. Taking things in stride are what he seems to be best at, and he doesn’t take too many insults to heart. He’s the type of person that can appreciate a nice day simply for what it is, and not bother to ask questions about it. He leaves concerns for the future in the dust, and would much rather live in the moment than have to worry over what will become of him. His playful attitude has never failed him in the past, and has also managed to get him out of a few sticky spots that have come and gone his way. Through it all he always has that half arrogant and half playful smirk on his face which will reveal an honest good nature. Despite being good natured, he does have his moments and his quirks. One thing he can’t seem to resist, or stay away from, is flirting. He flirts with nearly everyone, harmlessly as though it was a sport. Though he’s rarely serious about the people he seems to try and seduce there are the rare moments when they resist, and its most of those rare moments where he gets excited. He can’t resist a chase, be it on a flirting front or a rival. Since he doesn’t typically try his hardest when talking to others, it’s quite easy to spot when he is actively attempting to court someone, since his methods switch from the outwardly seductive to the sweeter and romantic. Coupled with this is his inability to back down from a challenge in any respect, no matter what the challenge may be. He’d even accept it if he knew he was going to lose, since he brushes off humiliation without batting an eye. It doesn’t matter to him if he wins or loses, as long as the challenge is met and he tried his best. Now for the rare side of this young man, the inner violence. He doesn’t get angry often if at all, he thinks anger is pointless and even more so if it’s in the form of misdirected frustrations and aggression. The rare occasions where someone does stir him up get dangerous and will often end in that person being seriously injured. His anger flares like an explosion, and in those moments are when the uncaring “Panda Hero” seem to pop up to stop the source of the aggravation that is inflicting pain on him. The adrenaline in his body causes his pain receptors to dull, and it seem as though he can reach and even exceed his physical limitations with ease and without consequences. He’s been known to exert amazing physical strength when angered and also becoming even more agile than he already is. Once the source of frustration is removed he calms almost immediately, the red veil lifting from him and leaving him somewhat confused. »»Family: Anya and Ivan Kosmachevskaia »»Other Important People: none »»History:Matvei was born in a small nondescript location, nestled in the middle of the forest. His parents worked a pokemon daycare which allowed him to be exposed to all kinds of pokemon from a very young age. He grew up in a relatively normal household, helping out when he could taking care of the pokemon in his parents care, and growing at his own pace under the gentle care of his parents. In his younger years he had a small fixation with water pokemon, and often ghosted around them when they did show up. Despite his parents warning him to be careful, a small tragedy struck one day at the age of 6. While ghosting around a water pokemon near the large pond they had in their yard, he was bumped into by the water pokemon and pushed into the pond, and nearly drowned. Amidst the flailing limbs and terror he felt he was rescued by a Bulbasaur close to the area, as the other pokemon were started by the flailing child. His mother rushed him to the nearby town and he was taken care of quickly, and found to be quite alright after he coughed up a large amount of water. Ever since that day he’s been afraid of water, and feels uneasy around water pokemon. Though the event did help him make a connection with grass type pokemon, and he did make an effort to become closer to the Bulbasaur that saved him. Despite the pokemon having to leave a few weeks after when his owner retrieved him, he was able to meet his very first pokemon trainer who was told Bulbasaur’s heroic story. As a gift the trainer gave the boy a small plush that resembled his savior, and he became inspired to go on his own travels one day and collect his own pokemon. Gladly his parents supported his decision, and even raised the money to help him get the necessities he’d need to successfully travel about the regions collecting badges and pokemon alike. Reaching the age of ten he set out on his own, starting off by collecting pokemon around his own region. It became clear soon though that he had no real interest in collecting badges, but had a fascination with accepting battles from other trainers and catching pokemon, taking his time to switch out the pokemon he had in storage to give everyone a fair chance in his party. He soaked in all the information about his pokemon that he could, and soaked in even more information regarding how wild pokemon reacted to those in the care of trainers. With this he realized he also liked to study other people, and with this he became less serious about his ambitions and more playful, realizing that though he enjoyed being a trainer he would more than likely take over the family business and work in the day care. Traveling to other regions was a struggle for him, because of his fear of water he couldn’t bear to surf to locations, or to land on island for extended periods of time, or even be near the water. Despite this he managed, instead flying to locations and merely learning to keep his sights ahead rather than down. She'd be more willing to let people prove their worth in their own way, she'd even let them walk all over her before she made a true judgement of their character. It was instant love the moment Angelette won the contest and their eyes met, and the courtship didn't last long before the two got married. Both of them were nearly orphaned, the only living relative between the two being Angelette's father. They settled down, her father living with them and very accepting of the two's marriage, and life was calm and sweet for a while. She was born in a light spring rain during the morning. Her parents were young and in love, and though the pregnancy was unexpected it was well accepted with the two. Unexpected complications arose for her mother during labor, and the petite woman passed away shortly after Melisandese was received. Heartbroken from his wife's death, Jean-Claude named the small girl and took her home, but couldn't seem to pull himself together enough to take care of her. While he suffered from grief the small girl was cared for mostly by her grandfather, who she grew a close bond to. As Jean-Claude descended further into his depression, he became more withdrawn from the world and no longer left the house. Trying to make the best of a bad situation Boniface took Melisandese out often to get her away from the opressive atmosphere that had come over the house. Soon though on an outing, they returned to the house and encountered a horrible scent. Her grandfather sent her to the neighbors house and discovered that Jean-Claude had killed himself, finally overwhelmed by the misery of his beloved's death. After the funeral the two remaining family members moved to the Bosena region and settled in Sodalite, close to the beaches and the water. Boniface encouraged his granddaughter's passions for pokemon, and she'd often watch the pokemon contests on tv. Wanting to help her blossom into a coordinator just like her mother, her grandfather helped her all she could to realize her dreams. She entered her first contest with confidence at 12, and though she didn't win she realized she loved the thrill. Since then she's been working hard to do her best, and managed to rise in the ranks. Despite her success her grandfather's health had taken a turn for the worst soon after turning 17, becoming a very invalid individual but very well cared for by his graddaughter. Her dark black hair is long and trails down her form effortlessly, straight as a pin and her bangs hanging in her face. Having learned this rule at a young age from watching her parents she plays the roles she needs to, arrogant coordinator, spoiled princess, polite civilian, what the situation calls for she can provide effortlessly without breaking a sweat. In public she plays the part of normal if not flashy civilian, she follows the rules and does nothing but provide something for people to talk about, which is a double mask for her. Since she needs to be the center of attention she allows society to judge her as they wish without worrying over her reputation. Not that she cares much about it anyway. Of course in private she plays the part of cunning but spoiled princess, always being one step ahead of everyone while still flashing her money in fairly obvious ways. In truth she's a very cunning and vicious woman, unafraid to cut down anyone in her way. She's not below sabotaging events to get her way, and her two dedicated servants will make sure of that. She's above many things, including talking to the less known coordinators (unless theyre cute or interesting) and conversing with anyone who has a bug type pokemon, due to her feeling uneasy around them. She loves to harshly tease people, though sometimes she doesn't seem to realize how harsh her words come out. Unnerving people is her strong suit, and she's psyched out contestants competeing against her in the past, to the point where she nearly got every contestant to quit in the middle of a contest when she was twenty. Befriending her is a good idea, she can be playful and funny when she wants to be but sees no point in showing off her positive qualities in public, unless she's winning over judges and adoring fans. The two were rather dull individuals, not having much in common but appreciating the fact that the other was attractive enough not to complain about being wed. The honeymoon was short lived and rather boring, but gladly they found that the night of their wedding had been successful enough to impregnant Helén and they simply went about their own ways. In public they were the picture perfect couple, seemingly close and young and beautiful as they were. The pregnancy was flawless, if not lonely due to Adam working all the time and ignoring his wife. She spent her time shopping for the baby, happy that she would finally have a bit of company to preoccupy herself. When the baby was born Helén took the liberty to name her herself, without any regard to what Adam wanted. She immersed herself in turning her beloved Ilona into a princess, caring for the child in place of a nurse or a nanny. Ilona had a strong sense of entitlement from a young age due to her mother spoiling her, and she took the liberty to be unafraid to ask for anything at all she would want or need. Adam intervened when she was close to 10, asking if the child would travel and become a pokemon trainer. Sensing her mother's disgust with the long and laborous task, she turned her nose and expressed her own distaste for such an adventure. Instead, she wanted to grow up and simply make a living making her pokemon as beautiful as she thought, and knew, she was. Satisfied her mother commended her on her choice, while Adam merely shrugged and walked away, unwilling to fight with his wife. Watching her parents all her life Ilona knew she had to have multiple masks in order to make her dream come true, since she was well aware she was spoiled rotten. Using all the money she could, her and her mother spent their time preparing her for her life as a coordinator. She watched various contests and sat with her mother for hours on end preening her pokemon, and found she had a taste that almost strictly was associated to dark, ghost, and psychic pokemon. Though her darker tastes nearly discouraged her mother, it was realized how well the types fit the girl's personality as she bloomed into a pure beautiful enigma with age. From the age of 10 she entered contests and did her best to destroy her opponenets, and her mother used to help her sabotage the other rivals. With two personal servants that she became attached to she rose in the ranks of contest halls and became somewhat of a celebrity in a few regions. His skin is pale which contrasts against his startling orange hair that sits messily on his head, since he doesn't bother to brush it unless it's utterly horrendous. His hair falls into his similar two toned red and orange eyes, which are large and rather feminine looking. Coupled with this smooth skin and small nose most would mistake him for a woman, if it were not for his personality. He's a rather tall boy, and well toned for his age. Though he may at times seem on the thin side, the amount of food he consumes only leaves the solution of an amazing matabolism. He's still scrawny compared to his friend, but has been known to be able to hold his own in a fight using his speed as an advantage. He dresses like a woman, wearing skirts coupled with sweatshirts. He's one of a duo who's notorious for causing trouble everywhere they go, as well as providing society with a couple of shocks with nor egard for anyone else's feelings. He's a rather blunt character who doesn't have much of a filter, and may not realize he's severely offended someone, nor does he care much when he does realize it. He loves to tease and make fun of others to get them riled up, and will often cross lines he's aware are clearly made, and even poke fun of things people wouldn't dream of mentioning, which has mortified his parents on a number of occasions. He's very attached and clingy to people, and a complete tramp to back it up. Though he may seem delightful, he won't be afraid to get your pants off for a night then act as though nothing happened the next day. It isn't unusual for him to talk of his exploits with people, and will often people watch just to be able to give people a good glance-over. He enjoys thinking that having a feminine appearance will give him better access to women, and likes to flaunt that fact in the face of his friend. In all reality, he's a coward. He enjoys riling people up, but if the fight turns on him he tucks his tail between his legs and legs it out of the location. When the two met it was like an explosion, she encouraged his hopes to make a large pokemon toy making company and with the money he earned he bought her all of her desires to fufill her own dreams. The two were somewhat crazy, having only married after 2 months of knowing each other, but they worked rather well together with the excitement they seemed to share. Marie got married after 3 months of marriage, and during her pregnancy met a woman named Mary. Mary was also pregnant and married to a man named Jake, who upon meeting James hit it off and they became business partners. Happily befriended the two crazy couples found they were having their children around the same time, due dates only a few days apart. Once the children were born they stayed in contact and even moved closer to each other, their welath only increasing with the success of their business in Scapolite. Edward and Philip were named after each other, and both of them quickly became friends as they grew up. They were allowed to run free with a minimal amount of rules, and if they got in trouble it was a matter of "boys will be boys!" Seeing as they both were as eccentric as their parents they had a number of odd and spontaneous interests, and had even tried their hand at being coordinators. Granted they could dress up their pokemon well enough, but they couldn't take the contests seriously and would perform a number of silly tricks that ruined the contests for everyone and eventually dropped the ambition due to boredom. One passion they did share and stuck to was saving pokemon from cruel homes and giving them a place to live, which caused them to open up their own pokemon shelter close to their home which proved to be a massive expansive project that took years to complete, but made their parents proud and caught the attention of Team Pergue. Since their parents were allied with the apparent charity, and despite sensing some sort of ill will from the representative they met with, once they found out they really wouldn't have to actually do anything, they agreed to become apart of the seemingly innocent project. Lacking the concentration necessary to run a business like their fathers wanted them to do once they hit 12 it was decided their boyish nature needed to be lived out and they needed to go off on their own to release all of the adolescent energy pent up within them. The two were somewhat crazy, having only married after 2 months of knowing each other, but they worked rather well together with the excitement they seemed to share. Marie got married after 3 months of marriage, and during her pregnancy met a woman named Mary. Mary was also pregnant and married to a man named Jake, who upon meeting James hit it off and they became business partners. Happily befriended the two crazy couples found they were having their children around the same time, due dates only a few days apart. Once the children were born they stayed in contact and even moved closer to each other, their welath only increasing with the success of their business in Scapolite. Edward and Philip were named after each other, and both of them quickly became friends as they grew up. They were allowed to run free with a minimal amount of rules, and if they got in trouble it was a matter of "boys will be boys!" Seeing as they both were as eccentric as their parents they had a number of odd and spontaneous interests, and had even tried their hand at being coordinators. Granted they could dress up their pokemon well enough, but they couldn't take the contests seriously and would perform a number of silly tricks that ruined the contests for everyone and eventually dropped the ambition due to boredom. One passion they did share and stuck to was saving pokemon from cruel homes and giving them a place to live, which caused them to open up their own pokemon shelter close to their home which proved to be a massive expansive project that took years to complete, but made their parents proud and caught the attention of Team Pergue. Since their parents were allied with the apparent charity, and despite sensing some sort of ill will from the representative they met with, once they found out they really wouldn't have to actually do anything, they agreed to become apart of the seemingly innocent project. Lacking the concentration necessary to run a business like their fathers wanted them to do once they hit 12 it was decided their boyish nature needed to be lived out and they needed to go off on their own to release all of the adolescent energy pent up within them.
